The Gardens at Oxbow is the first new home development of its kind in Western New York and is conveniently nestled in the historic Village of Lewiston.  The concept behind the development is based on the principles of the traditional neighborhood development (TND). This wave of new builds has become an increasingly popular trend in land planning designed to offer an alternative to conventional residential subdivisions.

Traditional neighborhoods create a cohesive place that restores community life, encourages a more “walkable” lifestyle and brings back the way neighborhoods existed before sprawl development.  All homes in The Gardens at Oxbow are custom-built of various sizes as well as custom-designed for the owner.

Entrepreneur Margie Mokhiber purchased her home in the Gardens of Oxbow in 2008 to accommodate the ever-changing needs of her family.  As her children grew older and moved into homes of their own, she found that she needed a new space to enjoy; one that would allow for entertaining guests while still being intimate enough for family dinners.  The open layout boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and has everything desirable one looks for in a luxury home.  From cathedral ceilings, a gas fireplace and beautiful Brazilian wood floors, this is not your typical patio home.

Margie is a Certified Nutritional Consultant who promotes healthy living and wellbeing. It makes sense that she spends a great deal of time in her kitchen making healthy and delicious meals for her family and friends.  After a long day at work, she finds herself enjoying the beautiful, luxurious views of the pond and fountain from the spacious front veranda.

Although the décor in each room varies in style, Margie has found a way to make it all flow together beautifully.  The black and white kitchen is classic, yet fits perfectly within the remaining traditional design that flows throughout the living space.

The outdoor patio area is located off of the kitchen and features a relaxing lounge space with comfortable furniture.   The fire pit can be found strategically located in the patio area, setting the tone for entertaining friends and family on those perfect summer nights.  This home is ideal for family get-togethers where the family can sit, relax and enjoy the summer!
